Under moderate supervision, performs various technical procedures in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Orients, and trains new employees; assists with maintaining departmental records; monitors equipment, etc.
Requirements: Graduate of an A.M.A. approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology. One year in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine. Certified by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance. Must have current CPR Heart Saver Plus or Community CPR certification.
