Provides prenatal diagnostic or preconceptual genetic counseling to potential high risk patients and family members; conducts in-take screening, risk assessment, explains nature and scope of testing procedures.  Prepares laboratory specimens as required. Maintains programmatic files and prepares reports as necessary.

Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; Master's of Science Degree in Genetics or Genetic Counseling.  American Board of Medical Genetics - Genetic Counseling.  Microsoft Office Suite, Basic computer skills, Cerner, Synquest, IDX, Standard Office Equipment, Critical thinking skills, Internet, Reprotox.  Position involves coordinating/providing all aspects of referral based prenatal genetic counseling services, including participation in perinatal and ultrasound conferences.  Three to five years of experience.
