Provides clerical and secretarial support to the Nurse Managers. Facilitates the Department of Nursing staffing of the hospital by utilizing and identifying available nursing resources, under the direction of Nursing Management, based upon unit needs and staff/census fluctuations to maintain cost-effective staffing patterns. Supports Nursing Management in maintaining accurate demographic, skill, and scheduling information on all nursing employees in a computerized scheduling system.
Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent; 1-3 years experience; Staffing and scheduling systems; Typing - 40 wpm; KRONOS scheduling System; Payroll functions; Microsoft Office Suite; Computer skills required; Standard Office Equipment; Scheduling experience.
