Under moderate supervision, coordinates and performs direct care for an assigned group of patients. Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Psychiatric background preferred. One (1) year of previous experience in a patient care setting is required; 5-7 years experience; EKG/MONITOR; Maryland Nurse Practice Act for Registered Nurses Visualization, measuring, calculating, auscultation, palpation, and documentation techniques; Maryland Registered Nurse License; CPR Certification; ACLS; PALS.
