Seeking an experience Wound Care Nurse to join our respected wound care team in a progressive long term care environment. The Certified Wound Nurse provides inpatient consults to Levindale staff to effectively manage patients with wounds and ostomies. The Certified Wound Nurse is the recognized expert in his/her field.

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Nursing degree with 3-5 years of experience. Minimum 2 years experience in wound care. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Synquest; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment; Extensive clinical knowledge or pressure ulcers is required. Excellent leadership, time management and customer service skills needed as an important member of the interdisciplinary team. Applicant will also be responsible for the education of staff, patients and families. Prefer long term care experience; Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; Certification in wound care (CWOCN, CWCN, WCC or WCS). Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm.
