Job Details:

- Associate's Degree is preferred

Under moderate supervision, performs diagnostic tests and scanning procedures, utilizing ultrasound systems, to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Performs duties of Ultrasound Technologist as it relates specifically to providing Obstetric-related procedures. Explains procedures and special requirements to patients. Adjusts equipment and evaluates image. Position includes generous sign-on bonus.

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. One to three (1-3) years of experience. Board Certification-ARDMS eligible. Basic computer skills; Cerner; IDX; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment; VCR'S/DVD recording; Internet. Ideal candidate must possess experience in high-risk obstetrical training and instructional & sonography software maintenance; familiarity with AIUM accreditation standards.
