- High school diploma or equivalent is required
To maintain an efficient telecommunications operations for Northwest Hospital Center. On a 24-hour basis, receive and evaluate calls and direct telephone and/or radio communications to the appropriate persons. To provide hospital-wide telephone and/or radio communications for Northwest Hospital during the existence of a critical situation. To act as a liaison for patients, families, and other customers, as necessary to facilitate positive customer satisfaction. To accurately receive, document, and relay messages for physicians, and to operate a Physicians� Answering Service. Requirements: One (1) year PBX operator work experience or demonstrated positive public relations work experience. Clear, pleasant speaking voice. Able to type 30 words per minute.
