Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Bachelor's of Nursing, preferred. Maryland Registered Nurse License. CPR Certification. Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Medical terminology; Medical equipment; Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Cerner, Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Critical thinking skills. Less than one year of experience.
