Under moderate supervision, evaluates patients, plans, and administers patient treatments to promote
restoration or improvement of cognition, communication and /or swallowing ability, based on physician referral. Provides professional care in accordance with ASHA standards and Maryland State Board of examiners scope of practice.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; Graduate of approved speech language pathology curriculum. Maryland Licensure Speech Language Pathology; CPR Certification; Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Cerner, IDX; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment. Less than one year of experience.
