Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team.

Requirements:  Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.  Bachelor's of Nursing, preferred.  Less than one (1) year of experience required.  Maryland Registered Nurse License and CPR Certification.  Position is on a 40-bed ventilator unit (with full Respiratory Therapy support 24/7).  No weekends. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment.
