The LifeBridge Health Brain & Spine Institute is a one-of-its-kind consortium of specialists from Sinai Hospital and Northwest Hospital Center in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and other subspecialties. The Institute offers a full range of services for brain, spine and peripheral nervous system diseases including sophisticated diagnostic techniques, state-of-the-art surgical modalities and comprehensive rehabilitation programs. In 2007, Sinai Hospital will open a new outpatient office building and a new 36-bed, all private-room neurological pavilion, which will house a Spine Center, an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and a Stroke Center with a 10-bed inpatient Stroke Unit.
Under moderate supervision, coordinates care and performs direct care for an assigned group of patients. Major duties include assessing and treating patient according to Plan of Care; teaching, monitoring status, and planning for discharge of patient; documenting interventions; and performance improvement. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing . Licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland. Must have good communication, interpersonal, time management, clinical, teaching, and organizational skills. Must have current CPR HealthCare Provider or CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification. Must successfully complete Hospital orientation/ training program. Telemetry experience preferred but not required.
