Under frequent supervision, functions as a technician in all areas of pharmacy, performs a variety of activities to assist in dispensing medications throughout appropriate areas of the hospital; delivers medications to nursing units; prepares injectable medications, unit does carts, IV admixtures, etc.; completes necessary record keeping and performs clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year pharmacy experience. Must have good communication skills. Must successfully complete IV certification within 90 days of hire and must successfully complete IV recertification annually.  Zero hour techncian working mainly evening and weekend hours.
