Job Details: |
With ability to work independently, under limited supervision, performs moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests in one or more of the following disciplines; blood bank, serology and blood gas; utilizes manual and automated procedures. Uses and maintains equipment, reagents and supplies; demonstrates computer skills; deals with pre-analytical problems; and performs required calibration and quality control. Communicates intra and interdepartmentally, demonstrating knowledge of testing principles and procedures; may act as a resource person. Requirements: Medical Technologist (MT), ASCP registered, eligible, or equivalent. Experience and education requirements are based on the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), Board of Registry, Certification Examination Eligibility Requirements.
