- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Responsible for pulling and filing medical records, answering phones, filing loose reports in the records, and performing file maintenance in the file area. Assists with providing coverage in other areas of the department such as the Doctor's Completion Area and the Front Desk. Responsible for release of information in emergent situations.
Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent. One to three (1-3) years of experience. Knowledge of all HIPAA rules and regulations; Medical record knowledge preferred. Basic computer skills, Synquest, Cerner; Critical thinking skills; Standard Office Equipment.
