- Master's degree is preferred
Under general supervision, processes and dispenses medications orders, oversees support staff, and
provides drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; Three (3) years direct (at bedside) experience in specialty area where knowledge is applied toward pharmacotherapy, resulting in a measurable patient outcome. One to three (1-3) years of experience. Registered Pharmacist in Maryland; Professional membership recommended: AphA, ASHP, MSHP, ASCP, etc.; Standard pharmacy equipment; Basic computer skills; Medication packaging equipment; IV laminar flow hood.
