Facilitates improvement in the overall quality and completeness of medical record documentation and obtains appropriate documentation through extensive interactions with the physicians.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Nursing, Physician Assistant, or Physician Medical Education. Five to seven (5-7) years of experience. Maryland Registered Nurse License; Maryland Physician Assistant License; Medical Doctor Registered Health Information Administrator. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills.
