Performs cleaning and decontamination activities for surgical instruments, procedure trays and patient care equipment. Provides specialty support to specialty OT Teams. Incorporates knowledge of techniques, procedures, use of equipment and Hospital and Department policies necessary for efficient and accurate job performance.

Requirements:  Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent.  Three to Five (3-5) years of experience.  Central Service Technician within one year of hire.  Medical terminology; Medical equipment.  Must have certification.   Candidate will rotate day/evening/night shift to meet unit needs.  Weekends will also be rotated.
