Promotes the successful operations of admissions to both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.   Reviews physician referrals to ensure completeness, obtains and enters patient information, registers patients and verifies insurance coverage against services to be provided.   

Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent. One to three (1-3) years of experience, preferably working in a medical environment. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including respect for our patients and the confidentiality of their medical information.  Must have computer skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Medical terminology and knowledge of insurance is highly preferred.  An understanding of physical medicine and rehabilitation would be helpful.
