Manages a dedicated component of the Insurance Receivable billing and collection activities for Sinai Hospital. In coordination with the Manager, sets goals for cash, days in AR, productivity, and follow-up protocol for Patient Accounting Technicians. Maximizes recoveries on assigned Accounts Receivable.  Proactively identifies areas that require attention to protect Sinai�s cash position and accounts receivable balances. Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Health Care Administration; Microsoft Office Suite, Basic computer skills, Critical thinking skills, Hospital-third party billing and collections experience required, Managed Care, Medicare experience is a plus. Three to five years of experience preferred.
