To enhance the clinical effectiveness of the hospitals biomedical equipment through competent repair, preventive maintenance, technical support and user education.

Requirements: Completion of an Associate Arts Program in Biomedical Engineering. An equivalent degree in electronics with an additional two years experience as a hospital biomedical technician is acceptable. Three years experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment in a hospital environment required. Certification preferred.
