Facilitates improvement in the overall quality and completeness of medical record documentation and obtains appropriate documentation through extensive interactions with the physicians.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Nursing, Physician Assistant, or Physician Medical Education; Maryland Registered Nurse License, Maryland Physician Assistant License, Medical Doctor, Registered Health Information Administrator. Microsoft Office Suite, Basic computer skills, Cerner, Synquest, Standard Office Equipment, Medical terminology, Critical thinking skills. Five to seven years of experience.
